Morning Real Estate Review

Anthony Lanier entering U Street, H Street (Washington Post)  After developing much of Georgetown's M Street, Lanier and Eastbanc are getting into property much further from Georgetown in more ways than one.

JBG picks another outsider for its U Street Project (CityPaper)  The megadeveloper picks yet another outsider for its Atlantic Plumbing site.

Mortgage rates continue grinding into historically low territory (Mortgage News Daily)  The 30-year fixed average remains at 3.875%, as other rates continue lower.

Mortgage applications up a tick (Mortgage Bankers) Applications are up just a bit - .1% - over the previous month, adjusting for seasonal changes.
